Orthokeratology is a specialized field in optometry focused on the management of myopia through custom-designed contact lenses. Optometrists evaluate the shape of the cornea, fit personalized lenses and closely monitor the patient's progress. By applying orthokeratology therapy, optometrists provide personalized myopia management, which can effectively slow down the progression of myopia and reduce related risks. Their expertise ensures optimal vision improvement while prioritizing patient eye health. Orthokeratology therapy offers a non-surgical and reversible alternative to manage myopia through the use of specially designed lenses.
