Vouchers are not applicable for online/ telemedicine services This message serves to remind you that elderly persons shall receive healthcare services in person provided by enrolled health care providers (EHCPs) before they can use their vouchers to settle the relevant service fees. Vouchers are not applicable for online/ telemedicine services. To ensure proper use of public money, the Department of Health has put in place measures and procedures for checking and auditing voucher claims to ensure proper disbursement of public monies in handling reimbursements to EHCPs. All suspected cases of violating the Health Care Voucher Scheme rules or making false declarations will be strictly dealt with. Appropriate action or measures will be taken, including referring relevant cases to law enforcement agencies for investigation. Making a false declaration is a criminal offence and offenders are liable to a fine or imprisonment upon conviction.
