保護兒童網上課程

誠邀您參加「保護兒童網上課程」網絡研討會!
背景
《強制舉報虐待兒童條例》(《條例》)於2024年7 月11 日在立法會通過,並於7 月19 日刊憲。《條例》將於刊憲當日後的18 個月屆滿時( 即2026 年1 月20 日)起實施。為配合《條例》生效,政府設立電子學習平台,為相關專業人員提供培訓、參考資料及資訊,協助他們及早發現和舉報虐待兒童個案。
「保護兒童網上課程」設有網上自學課程和網絡研討會。網上自學課程的「單元一」已於2024年2月底推出,提供有關保護兒童的基本知識的訓練。「單元二」將會分階段推出,內容涵蓋與新訂法例相關的法律和舉報事宜的基本知識。
增潤課程
政府亦會舉辦網絡研討會,為專業人員提供增潤課程,探討保護兒童相關的不同專題,加強跨界別專業人員的合作,並因應訓練的需要加入發問環節,鼓勵互動學習。參加者可以於指定時間參與實時研討會亦可以透過網上重溫研討會專題研習的內容。
首二場的網絡研討會已分別於2024年6月27日及2024年9月11日舉行,並獲得熱烈反應。研討會備有繁體中文、簡體中文及英文字幕版本,已上載到「保護兒童網上課程」的資源角,供已註冊的參加者觀看及重溫。

Background
The Mandatory Reporting of Child Abuse Ordinance (the Ordinance) was passed in The Legislative Council on 11 July 2024 and published in the Gazette on 19 July 2024. The Ordinance will come into operation on the expiry of 18 months after the day on which it is published in the Gazette (i.e. 20 January 2026). To dovetail with the commencement of the Ordinance, the Government set up an e-learning platform to provide training, reference materials and information for the relevant professionals to facilitate their early identification and reporting of child abuse cases.
The Child Protection Online Training comprises online self-learning training and webinars. Module 1 of the online self-learning training was launched in February 2024 to provide training on the basic knowledge on child protection. Module 2 will be rolled out in phases and cover the basic knowledge on the relevant legal and reporting issues related to the new legislation.
Enrichment Programmes
The Government will provide enrichment programmes through webinars for professionals to study different topics related to child protection and to enhance cross-sectoral professional collaboration. Questions and answers sessions will also be included according to training needs to encourage interactive learning. Participants can join the real time webinar or participate in the thematic study of the webinar through archives.
Two webinars were conducted on 27 June 2024 and 11 September 2024 respectively with favorable response. In order to facilitate registered users to watch or review, the webinars have been uploaded onto the Resource Corner of the Child Protection Online Training website through archive with subtitles of Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and English.
