 世界眼科視光週-第四篇 (公眾教育講座)

香港光學會於26-4-2026（星期四）應尖沙嘴街坊福利會邀請，並由香港光學會副會長關國輝先⽣向參加者講解長者眼睛健康信息及分享護眼知識，題⽬為「正視眼睛老化、活得健康精彩」。 

內容分三部分, （⼀) 眼睛老化成因及四⼤主要眼疾解剖、(⼆) 視光師在基層醫療的⾓⾊和使⽤長者醫療券在視光服務範圍、(三) 護眼⾏動及⼩貼⼠。 

席間座無虛席，中段有互動環節, 現場講解使⽤阿姆斯勒表 Amsler grid, 氣氛熱烈, 最後參加者在問答環節踴躍發問, 關副會長⼀⼀解答。在講座圓滿結束後, 副會長關國輝先⽣連同副會長陳莉珊⼩姐與活動負責⼈及⼀眾參加者合照。香港光學會秉承WCO 理念，透過不同的護眼講座繼續分享護眼知識給公眾⼈⼠。 

World Optometry Week - Part 4 (Public Education Seminar)

On April 26, 2026 (Thursday), the Hong Kong Optometric Association HKOA, at the invitation of the Tsim Sha Tsui Neighbourhood Welfare Association, held a seminar. Mr. Kwok-fai Kwan, Vice President of the HKOA, delivered a seminar on eye health information for the elderly and shared eye care knowledge. The topic was "Facing Eye Aging and Living Well and See clearly"

The seminar was divided into three parts: (I) Causes of eye aging and anatomy of the four major eye diseases; (II) The role of optometrists in primary healthcare and the use of elderly Healthcare vouchers in optometric services; (III) Eye care actions and tips.

The seminar was full of participants. An interactive session was held in the middle, during which the use of the Amsler grid was explained, creating a lively atmosphere. At the end, participants actively asked questions during the Q&A session, which Vice President Kwan answered one by one.

After the successful conclusion of the seminar, Vice President Mr. Kwok-fai Kwan, along with Vice President Ms. Lai-shan Chan, took a group photo with the event organizers and all participants. Adhering to the principles of the World Council of Optometry (WCO), the HKOA continues to share eye care knowledge with the public through various eye care lectures.
